Riverhead Raceway to host WKA Rage Karts Series Finale in '09

As announced at our weekly driver's meeting this past weekend, the WKA Rage Kart Speedway Pavement Series will finally make its long awaited debut at Riverhead Raceway next year. This national event has been in the works for years, and with our strong kart count during this tough economic times, that was a big deciding factor in this event. The event will take place October 9-11, the Columbus Holiday weekend, with a practice day on Friday, and national event racing both Saturday and Sunday! From the entire EEKR board, we thank you the karter's for helping get Long Island it's first National event EVER!

FINAL STANDINGS POSTED

The Final Point standings are posted, also the results pages have been updated with every race. A big congrats goes out to all of our champions and competitors who competed with us in the 2008 racing season, our annual EEKR Awards dinner will be on December 7th at Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point, any question about tickets please call Linda, Dave, or Cindy. Also congratulations to Jerry Solomito who knocked off the rust in the Sr. Champ Raptor money race today, he beat Eric Zeh in a last lap duel, rounding out the top 5 was Trevor Perry, Nick Hadden, and Rich Wilson.
